Engineered for comfort and control in today’s trucks, vans and SUVs, Gabriel ProGuard shocks absorbers’ larger diameter piston delivers better-than-OE response and performance with increased oil capacity for better heat dissipation to maintain control.
ProGuard shocks' features include:
- Piston seal reduces oil by-pass for maximum shock control and performance
- Larger reservoir tube provides better cooling for longer shock life
- Low friction oil seal for greater comfort and longer shock life
- 1-3/8" bore piston construction for greater durability
And like all Gabriel shocks and struts, ProGuard shocks feature:
- A super-finished chromed piston rod to inhibit corrosion, ensure proper seal lubrication, provide a more consistent wear surface
- A leak-proof piston seal which extends product life
- D.O.M. (Drawn-Over-Mandrel) Tubing that reduces internal wear for longer product life
